Head Coach, Valley Christian Warriors & Founder, Football Camp for the Stars | Coach Machado is entering his 20th year as head coach of the Warriors football program. Under his leadership, the Warriors have established themselves as one of California’s premier football programs winning five Central Coach Section championships. Mike has been twice named CCS Coach of the year and also received national recognition as a Double Goal Coach from the Positive Coaching Alliance. In August of 2009, he received the President’s Award from the National Down Syndrome Congress for establishing the Football Camp for the Stars. Mike and his wife, Soseek, are the parents of three children

Former NFL Head Coach, NFL Football Analyst |In 9 seasons as an NFL Head Coach with the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions, Steve earned four playoff berths in six seasons, captured 2 NFC West titles and advanced to the 1997 NFC Championship Game. Prior that that, he was the Head Coach at the University of California, Berkeley. Coach Mariucci is currently an analyst for the NFL Network. Steve and Gayle Mariucci serve on the camp board of directors and, along with their three children, have been enthusiastic supporters and participants from the camp’s inception.

Former NFL Defensive Lineman | Rhett played 8 seasons in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, where he won the Eagles Ed Block Courage Award in 1997. Rhett and his wife, Julie, sit on the board of directors for the football camp where they provide valuable wisdom and support. Rhett and Julie are the parents of future Camp for the Stars superstar, Rhys, and his three brothers.

Former NFL Offensive Lineman | A veteran of 13 seasons as an NFL offensive lineman, Ron Stone brings a wealth of experience to his coaching responsibilities. Ron played with the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco Forty Niners, Oakland Raiders and New York Giants during which he earned three Pro Bowl berths. An incredibly patient and effective teacher of the techniques of football, Ron serves as the offensive line coach for the Warriors. He and his wife, Roxanne, are the parents of five children.

Varsity Football Manager, Valley Christian Warriors | Andrew begins his 19th year as the manager of the Warriors varsity football team. He is a beloved member of the Valley Christian community and his presence in the football program was a driving force behind the creation of Football Camp for the Stars. Although Andrew’s greatest passion is football, he has received numerous awards and medals in sports as diverse as horseback riding, golf, bowling and roller skating. In addition to his football responsibilities, Andrew is employed by Google and the VCA Almaden Valley Animal Hospital.

Head Coach, San Francisco 49ers | Coach Shanahan is entering his seventh season with the San Francisco 49ers. Kyle, his wife Mandy and their three children Stella, Carter and Lexi can always be found at Football Camp for the Stars. Kyle may sometimes bring some extra guests from the 49ers as well.
