Board of Directors

The Camp’s Directors and Officers assume the appropriate Board of Directors and Officer responsibilities, as set forth in the Camp’s Certificate of Incorporation, Bylaws, any policies or procedures adopted by the Board of Directors, and as applicable under federal or state law.

  • Juli Hall

    Juli Hall received a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from California State University, East Bay and she is currently employed at Jane Technologies as an Executive Assistant. Juli is a community volunteer and founding Board member of the Charter School of Morgan Hill Foundation. Juli is the mother of 4 boys, the youngest of whom has Down syndrome. She has been involved with Football Camp for the Stars, along with her husband Rhett, for the past 14 years.

  • Rhett Hall

    Rhett is a former NFL defensive lineman where he played eight seasons in the NFL. Rhett and his wife, Julie, are the parents of a son with Down Syndrome.

  • Bri Keating

    Bri is currently a homemaker and mother of a toddler. She has a background working with adults with IDD in the nonprofit field, as well as 10 years of experience teaching in early childhood education. Bri started her involvement with FCFTS as a freshman high school cheerleader (Valley Christian Alum), and currently directs Camp for the Stars Cheer Squad.

  • Mike Machado

    Coach Machado founded Football Camp For The Stars in 2007. He currently serves as Dean of Students and Head Football Coach at Valley Christian Schools. Under Mike’s leadership, the VCHS Warriors have amassed an impressive resume, winning the CCS Championship on multiple occasions. Coach Machado received the National Double Goal Coach Award by the Positive Coaching Alliance and was honored with the President’s Award by the National Down Syndrome Association. Mike was also named a 2020 NFL Don Shula Coach of the Year.

  • Soseek Machado

    Soseek received a B.S. in Administration of Justice at San Jose State University. She owned and operated the popular Chicago Steak and Fish Restaurant in Los Gatos until it’s sale in 2019. She is the mother of three Valley Christian alumni, two of which served multiple years as FCFTS buddies. Soseek has been involved with Football Camp For The Stars since its inception in 2007.

  • Steve Mariucci

    For the last 18 years, Steve has been employed as an analyst for the NFL Network. He is a former head football coach of the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and the University of California Golden Bears. He is currently the chairman of the Mariucci Family Foundation. Coach Mooch’s Celebrity Bocce Ball Event has raised over 8 million dollars ($8,000,000) over the last 25 years. Steve has been involved with Football Camp for the Stars since day one.

  • Tyler Mariucci

    Tyler is currently Senior Associate Athletic Director at Fresno State. He received his B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he was a member of the football team and M.A. from San Jose State. He was the quarterback for the Valley Christian Warriors in 2002 when they won their first CCS-CIF title. Fellow board member Andrew Watson was by his side every step of the way that season and was a huge inspiration for him. Tyler helped put on and worked the inaugural camp and filmed the camp’s first video. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mariucci Family Foundation.

  • Jared Muela

    Jared is the Youth Football Manager for the San Francisco 49ers.

  • Amy Watson

    Dr. Watson received a B.S. from Duke University and her medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia. She is currently a family practice physician who works with the Stanford Family Medicine Residency Program in the Bay Area. She is the sister-in-law of the FCFTS founding athlete (Andrew Watson) and has been an active member of the planning team for the past 12 years.

  • Andrew Wason

    Andrew has been a manager of the Valley Christian High School Warriors Varsity Football Team for the past 26 years. He has received All-League honors and been recognized in numerous publications for his devotion to the sport of football. He is employed by Google, Inc. Andrew has participated in the camp every year and was a driving force behind the creation of Football Camp For The Stars.

  • Pam Watson

    Pam was the founding Director of Operations for Football Camp For The Stars and she continues to serve in that position. She served as the Executive Assistant to the President of Valley Christian Schools for 20 years and is currently the Director of Events and Special Projects for the Office of the President. She is the mother of three children and grandmother of five.

  • Rick Watson

    Dr. Watson received his DVM and PhD from Colorado State University. He was a professor at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and was the Founder and CEO of the Pets RX chain of veterinary hospitals in California and Nevada. Upon his company’s acquisition by VCS (Veterinary Centers of America), Dr. Watson served as a Group VP overseeing hospitals in the western US until his retirement. Rick is a member of the Board of Directors of Valley Christian Schools and has also served on the Seaver College Board of Visitors at Pepperdine University and Board of Directors of Harvest Evangelism.
