All my Camp for the Stars Football players the big day is getting closer and closer, it’s time to start thinking about getting in shape to be at your best for the camp. We have two days of great football drills finishing in the big “Camp for the Stars” scrimmage. I’m very excited about the upcoming camp and want all my players in shape and prepared. To that end, you should:
- Walk or jog at least 30 minutes every other day, on a track or treadmill or even an exercise bike. (neighborhood streets will work with proper shoes)
- Try some strength training using your body weight as weights and do push-ups and sit-ups every other night as well
- Anytime you can use a swimming pool , use it and swim, or jog in the shallow end using the water as resistence.
- Play Basketball or soccer or any other sport to condition yourself also.
Remember : “Preparation is the first Key to being at your Best”.
